The course follows a step-by-step process to set up financial records in a law practice - beginning with setting up preferences and ending with the mechanics of client trust accounting and the handling of advanced / recovered costs. The course also covers how to properly set up the chart of accounts; how and why to use time tracking; how to set up and track payroll; how to work with classes and job types so that invoicing is accurate; and how to work with reports to determine the profitability of your firm.
